Giant Hogweed

The primary concern with Giant Hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum) is the sap: it is very irritant to skin upon contact and, in conjunction with sunlight, can cause painful blistering, scarring or even blindness.

Eradication is of particular importance when Giant Hogweed is growing on land accessible to the public.

Our main course of action is the same stem injection method we use for Japanese Knotweed.
